Christmas & Christmas Village 2009

Thanksgiving 2009

We were in charge of the Murdock Thanksgiving this year. We had it in our unfinnished basement since it was the only place large enough to fit everyone. Dustin and I had lots of fun planning the table decorations. We even made our own napkin rings out of cardstock that we stamped and tied with ribbon. There were lots of activities to keep everyone entertained...x-box, wii, double-shot basketball, air hockey, crafts and movies. It was a fun time to be together with family and the food was delicious :-)

Chicago

Dustin has been traveling to Madison, Wisconsin a lot lately for work (3 out of 4 weeks in August & 2 weeks of October), I was able to go for the weekend and stay with him without kids! We had a great time together going to movies, shopping, and we even were able to drive and spend the day in Chicago. It was so fun to go and see all of the amazing architecture there is to see there! Oh, and sleeping through the nights without kids was nice too :-)

One Fun Summer

Well, we are coming to the end of summer vacation. Our kids start school on August 17th. Madison is going to be starting 6th grade, and Zack will be in 3rd. Kaden and McKenna are turning 2 in September. Wow, time does go by quickly! Here are some of the things the kids did this summer: Cherry Hill (we had season passes), Gateway Discovery, Classic Skating, Sleepovers, Movies, Boondocks, Seven Peaks, Swim party, Raptors baseball game, Real soccer game, Roy aquatic center, sleep out on tramp (with Dad :-), Bear Lake, Soccer camp, Basketball camp, Cheer camp, Tumbling, Swim lessons, and Fishing with Dad. WOW! I think that we were making up for the last year when all we could do was survive having two babies! We still have a Lava Hot Springs trip planned with my family coming up, and then maybe things will slow down a little. But, I don't count on it. It seams like we always have some place that someone needs to be!

Discovery Center

We had a great family day in Salt Lake. We took the kids on the train to the Gateway Discovery Center. We spent the entire day there, and we all had a great time!
